Miguel Ortuño

Professor of Physics · Universidad de Murcia

I work on the physics of disordered systems — how randomness, interference and interactions together shape the electronic behaviour of solids.

I am a professor of physics at the Universidad de Murcia, in the Department of Physics and the Centro de Investigación en Óptica y Nanofísica (CIOyN). My work combines experiment and computation in condensed matter physics, with a long-standing interest in amorphous materials and in the transition between superconducting and insulating behaviour.
